About
About the Dashboard
Our dashboard is an interactive online tool showing both maps and trend visualizations that demonstrate the impact of the opioid overdose and mental health crisis across the United States. Our team at the Tufts University School of Medicine created this platform with the intention of expanding knowledge of this syndemic. Tools like this one are not novel, but our dashboard presents up-to-date data from various sources, in addition to incorporating data on travel time to treatment for opioid use disorder. We hope that our tool is used by local public health officials, students exploring health, and the broader public aiming to understand overdose in their community.
